
Mark’s impressive financial career spans four decades. He rose to prominent positions at Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley, where he developed a deep understanding of the complexities of personal finance and a keen ability to navigate the ever-changing economic landscape. Before co-founding Pinnacle, Mark served as a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
As a highly experienced and knowledgeable financial advisor, Mark is dedicated to helping individuals and families simplify their financial life and pursue their goals. He places a high value on building meaningful and lasting connections with his clients, taking the time to understand their priorities, and offering tailored financial strategies and guidance across a wide range of financial topics. Mark specializes in financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning, education planning, and managing cash flow, among other areas.
Mark holds series 6, 7, 63, 65, and life and health insurance licenses through LPL Financial. He is a proud alum of Montana State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance. He also played defensive end for MSU’s 1976 National Championship Team, earning him a place in the Montana State Athletic Hall of Fame.
Mark is a true Bellevue, Washington native, currently residing in the area with his wife and their cherished golden doodle, Carrson (spelled with two “r” s). He has two wonderful stepdaughters, aged 29 and 32, who he adores. When he’s not in the office, Mark loves to spend quality time with his wife, engaging in various activities, from traveling to tackling yard work. He also enjoys staying active by reading, snow and water skiing, cycling outdoors, and keeping fit at the gym.
His commitment to making a difference goes beyond his professional responsibilities. Mark supports two foundations, Make-A-Wish and Frank Lloyd Wright.
