Matt is a passionate and accomplished advisor who brings a unique blend of technical expertise and financial insight to his clients. After beginning his career as an electrical engineer, Matt discovered his true calling in wealth management and spent more than a decade serving the complex needs of high-net-worth entrepreneurs and families.
In 2023, Matt founded Pinnacle Private Wealth Advisors, an independent wealth management firm, with a vision to deliver family office financial strategies with exceptional service. He has since grown Pinnacle into a dynamic team dedicated to guiding clients through business transitions, wealth preservation, and retirement planning.
Matt specializes in designing and implementing precision plans that help clients grow and sell their businesses, optimize tax strategies and pursue the lifestyle they desire. His approach is rooted in understanding each client’s goals, values, and priorities—ensuring every plan is as unique as the individual behind it. Like a well-planned climb, Matt believes success comes from preparation, strategy, and steady progress toward the summit.
He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designations, reflecting his expertise in alternative investments, retirement plan consulting, and commitment to continued professional development. Matt earned his M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business after graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Washington.
Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and children, Jack and Charlotte. Whether golfing, skiing, or cheering on the Seahawks & Huskies, family and adventure are always at the heart of his journey.
